NYSC State Co-ordinator Abuja Request for provision of Transportation of Corps Members by employers.
Following the derivatives given by the FG for the reopening of the orientation camps some days back, the NYSC State Coordinator of Abuja has requested for provision of Transport Logistics by Corps Employers.
However, we may recall that Batch A Stream 1 Orientation course which started on the 10th of March, 2020 was aborted because of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the globe.
The State Coordinator of Abuja in her statement said:
“I wish to inform all our Corp Employers that the Management of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) putting all measures to place to conclude the 2020 Batch A Stream Orientation course nationwide.
You may recall that the 2020 Batch A Stream 1 Orientation course which started on the 10th of March, 2020 was aborted because of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the globe.
In light of this, the NYSC coordinator is appealing to Corp Employers to assist the Corp Members whenever they are called back, they should kindly release and assist them with the Provision of Transport Logistics in getting back and from the Orientation camp to complete their orientation course.

The import of this letter, therefore, is to appeal to you based on the prevailing circumstances to assist in the conveyance of Corp Members (already posted to you) to and from Orientation Camp Afikpo on the dates yet to be announced by the NYSC Directorate Headquarters Abuja.
The Zonal and Local Government Inspectors have been directed to liaise with all Corp Employers to give this circular needed publicity and attention.
