Return of 2020 Batch A Stream I Corps Members to Camp
Following the derivatives given by the FG for the reopening of the orientation camps some days back, the FG has given the nod for the National Youth Service Corps to begin preparations for the reopening of orientation camps nationwide.
The National Coordinator of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19, Dr. Sani Aliyu said: “For the National Youth Service Corps, the NYSC is to consolidate on safety measures currently being put in place and start preparing for the reopening of orientation camps when educational institutions open.
However, we recall that Orientation camps were shut in March, 2020 as part of measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.

With Respect to this, the management of the Adamawa State is considering inviting the corps members back to camp very soon to complete their orientation course. Considering the Circular below:
In light of this return of 2020 Batch A Stream I Corps Members to Camp, the management of the NYSC Adamawa State is soliciting to the Clerk (House of Assembly) Yola, that whenever the corps members are called back, they should kindly release and assist them in getting back to camp so as to ensure there is no outbreak of Covid-19 when the corps members are back to complete their orientation course.
