Relocation is applied for on the NYSC portal after camp, and the letter goes with your supporting documents to the State Coordinator of the state you are leaving. Grounds accepted: marriage (for women, with marriage certificate and husband’s evidence of residence), health (with a medical report from a government hospital), and security.

Before you send it
- The portal application comes first; the letter supports it.
- Medical reports must be from a government hospital and recent.
- You cannot choose your new PPA; you are redeployed to the state and posted afresh.
- Do not pay anyone to “process” relocation. It is free.
