NYSC: Everything to know about the Passing out Parade

NYSC Approves Passing Out Parade Date for 2019 Batch C Stream 1 Corps Members

I wish to officially inform us that the Management of the National Youth Service Corps has approved 15th October 2020 as the date for the 2019 Batch C Stream 1 corps members passing out parade.

I will be issuing out all directives as instructed by the State Coordinator to ensure proper assimilation of every instruction. Please, I will break my write-ups so as to carry us along and not bore us in the process.

1. All Ikeja 1, Batch C Stream 1 corps members who are deserving of the certificate of National Service will be collecting their certificate at Ikeja 1 LG Premises.
2. There will be 4 points with four different officers at the venue of distribution to attend to 40 corps members at each point at intervals of 2hrs.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THE PASSING OUT EXERCISE

1. Final Clearance letter from your place of primary assignment with your posting letter duly stamped and signed by the LGI and Zonal inspector.
2. Identity card(All temporary ID card must be laminated)
3. Face mask
4. Hand Gloves
5. A writing pen( no borrowing please)

Please all the items above are mandatory for your safety and that of the Nysc officials that would attend to you because of COVID 19.

DRESS CODE AND CONDUCT ON THAT DAY

1. Time has been scheduled for every corps member to collect his or her CNS on the day allocated. You ensure prompt arrival to the venue to avoid missing your allocated time. Defaulters will be seriously disciplined as such acts (lateness and waiting) can lead to overcrowding. It will not be tolerated. Leave the house early to avoid traffic stories.
2. You MUST be fully kitted on your NYSC uniform(Cap, Crested Vest, Khaki Trouser, Belt, Jungle Booth, Your Face Mask, and hand gloves) Defaulters will not be allowed into the local government premises by the security personnel.
3. You Must Wash your hands With Water and soap at the entrance of the venue immediately you arrive before wearing your hand gloves.
4. You Must be seated 2meters apart from each other in a single role in front of your collection point while consistently Wearing your Face Masks and hand gloves.
5. All Passing out Corps members must Come to the venue with their writing Pen. it will be used for the signing of your certificate…exchange of writing materials will not be tolerated.
6. Group photographs by Corps members are highly prohibited. Even taking a picture during the collection of your Certificate Is not allowed. This is to avoid overcrowding.
7. You are to leave the issuance venue immediately you collect your Certificate. No waiting, No hanging Around Please. This is to avoid overcrowding.
8. All passing out Corps members who defaulted in monthly biometrics clearance for two months and above should not for any reason come to the venue of passing out on that day your certificates will not be at the venue except otherwise communicated by the LGI.

2019 BATCH C STREAM 1 END OF THE YEAR MAGAZINE

ALL PASSING OUT CORPS MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO COME TO THE PASSING OUT VENUE WITH THEIR 1000 NAIRA FOR YOUR END OF THE YEAR MAGAZINE/BROCHURE.

FINAL CLEARANCE COMMENCEMENT

Having noted above that the documents needed for the collection of the certificate MUST be duly signed by the LGI and Zonal inspector, you are therefore to note that in observance to NCDC protocol rules, our FINAL clearance will be spread across from 2/10/2020 – 9/10/2020

This is not just to observe the safety rules but to also make it seamless for us, as we will have ample time to clear at LG and Zonal office and hand over to you in good time before the passing out exercise.

Documents needed for the final clearance are

1. Final Clearance letter from your PPA
2. NYSC ID card(Lagos or any state you relocated from)
3. Posting Letter

Any corps member that is not cleared by LG and Zonal office will not be issued a certificate as the list of cleared corps members will be forwarded to Surulere

THE SCHEDULE FOR FINAL CLEARANCE STARTS WITH THOSE WITHIN THE RANGE FROM
LA/19C/0006 TO 19C/1433. (FRIDAY 2nd October 2020)

19C Corps Members that their CODE NUMBER FALL within the ABOVE RANGE are to be at the LG for their FINAL Clearance on FRIDAY 2nd of OCTOBER between 8am to 1pm.
