In the heat of the Coronavirus epidemic, a former 2019 Batch A corps member whose name is Temitope, who served in Oyo State (Ibadan) has created a beautiful hand-washing facility out of a drum. Just a drum.
As Coronavirus continues to wreak havoc to the usual day-to-day operations around the world, there have been daily talks since the outbreak of the virus for humans to always wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
It’s been repeated countless and while many people have heeded, others just do not care. Partly because for all their movements in a day, there aren’t enough places where you can find a sink, water and soap.

Now, we may not have to worry too much about that anymore, following this impressive innovative. This young man took a disposed oil drum and out of it, he carved out and produced a well-designed wash-hand sink. A pipe for running water is attached to it and you can find a liquid soap on it, too.

This is really good because governments or non-governmental organizations could just order for large quantities to be produced and placed in areas for people so they can follow through on the hand-washing instructions.
A lot of it could be placed in schools, too, and other institutions where you find large number of people gathered, and also outdoor events. It’s a good work of art and really attractive. There’s no way people will not want to make use of it.
Talk about a wonderful talent and the quickness to innovate. This is what makes people rich.
