Most PCMs do not understand the difference between a Fresh Registration pane and a Re-validation pane. The Fresh Registration.
Fresh registration is majorly for new PCMs that just got mobilized by their institutions. They are expected to register by creating an online profile on the Nysc registration portal using their(any) Gmail account.

However, Fresh registration is also applicable to PCMs who did not successfully complete their nysc registration with a previous batch or set hindering them from getting their registration approved.
How do you know if your registration is not approved?
- Such PCMs will not have a Green Card which has the Call-Up No.
- Such PCMs will not have a Call-Up Letter.
With this in mind, anyone in that category should click on fresh registration once the nysc portal is available.
Re-validation
Re-validation is simply for PCMs that successfully registered but decided not to go to camp based on some reasons best known to them. Re-validation requires some basic information, especially your Call-Up Number so as to re-validate your profile.
More so, if you successfully registered and you got posted to a state and you decided not to go because you did not like the state;
Nevertheless, be rest assured that the moment you re-validate, you’re definitely getting the same state. Nothing is changing.
